Once again, once a year, we pause to acknowledge the powerful message of Christmas all over the world. It is a time when we set aside all the worries and troubles of a year that has been beset by disasters, conflict and war, financial crises, strife, hunger and pain.

We remember our cherished friends and kin in the spirit of Christ, whose birth, life and death humanity continues to remember through centuries past.

Let us draw strength and inspiration from this annual celebration to spread the gospel of peace and love, that we may all make this world truly a home of content.
